Piraeus Port Authority celebrates China’s Mid-Autumn Festival

Piraeus Port Authority (PPA) celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of China’s most important traditional celebrations, also known in Greece as the Moon Festival.

A celebratory lunch was held to mark the occasion, attended by Piraeus Port Authority executives and employees, including CEO Su Xudong, highlighting the coexistence of different cultural traditions at the Port of Piraeus.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is traditionally associated with family reunions, the harvest and the full moon, and is celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth month of the Chinese lunar calendar.

The Piraeus Port Authority management has placed particular emphasis on strengthening cooperation and fostering a shared corporate culture, according to the company.
